NEW ADDITION TO THE LARGE FORMAT HYBRID ANAMORPHIC SERIES
The MHX line of large format hybrid anamorphic lenses now includes a new focal length: The 180 mm/T1.9. The new lens is the eighth focal length in the set, offering fine-tuned performance and additional flexibility. The Hawk MHXs are spherical lenses that use a patented shaping device to produce classic anamorphic characteristics while eliminating many of the inconveniencies – size, weight, distortion, breathing – that come with traditional squeeze optics.
This glass is well-suited for CG – the control and consistency of the Hawk MHX spherical lenses offer greater convenience and efficiency in post and CG on today’s FX-heavy productions, while maintaining full-blown anamorphic flavor.
