    Company Overview:
    Hawk London is a dynamic and growing company specializing in camera equipment rentals for large-scale productions. We are currently seeking an experienced Camera Prep Technician to join our team at our Here East facility in Hackney Wick, Stratford.

    Position Summary:
    Reporting to the Camera Manager, the Camera Prep Technician will play a crucial role – in ensuring that all camera equipment is thoroughly prepared and tested for use in productions. This role requires close collaboration with the Camera Manager, lens technicians, and other team members to maintain the high standards our clients expect.

    Key Responsibilities:
    Assist in the Camera department under the guidance of the Camera Manager.
    Prepare and test camera equipment, working closely with other members of the camera team and lens technicians.
    Utilise rental software to ensure accurate tracking and management of equipment throughout productions.
    Log and report any issues, such as damaged or missing equipment, to the Equipment Booker and Camera Manager.
    Regularly test equipment, update firmware, and maintain an up-to-date inventory.
    Perform additional ad-hoc tasks as required.

    Preferred Qualifications:
    Strong knowledge of camera equipment used in large-scale productions.
    Basic understanding of grip equipment.
    Previous experience in a busy rental house or on-set environment.
    Self-motivated with a collaborative attitude.
    Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and team members.
    Strong organisational and time management skills, capable of managing multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
    Demonstrates initiative and problem-solving abilities.
    Quick learner with keen attention to detail.
    This is a site-based role at Here East, Stratford, London, UK, with flexibility to travel as needed for set visits, industry events.

    We are currently seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Head of Commercials, also known as a Senior Account Handler, to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing client accounts, new business acquisitions, coordinating equipment bookings throughout the booking team, and ensuring an outstanding customer experience.

    Key Responsibilities:
    •⁠ ⁠Manage and maintain client accounts, building strong relationships and providing exceptional customer service;
    •⁠ ⁠Driving new business through existing client contacts and proactive engagement with DP’s, Producers, and Directors, specifically, but not limited to the commercials sector
    •⁠ ⁠Coordinate equipment bookings, ensuring the availability and timely delivery of equipment for clients’ projects;
    •⁠ ⁠Liaise with internal departments, including operations and technical teams, to guarantee the proper preparation, maintenance, and dispatch of equipment;
    •⁠ ⁠Keep accurate records of client communications, bookings, and invoicing information in the rental management system;
    •⁠ ⁠Proactively identify and resolve any potential booking conflicts or equipment shortages, communicating with clients and colleagues as needed;
    •⁠ ⁠Assist the General Manager in sourcing and dealing with equipment requests, supporting the Capex requirements.
    •⁠ ⁠Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and competitor offerings to provide
    knowledgeable recommendations and support to clients;
    •⁠ ⁠Represent the company at industry events (including outside the UK), conferences, and trade shows, promoting Hawk London’s services and expanding the company’s network.
    •⁠ ⁠Organise client visits to keep relationships and service at the highest possible level whilst
    identifying growth opportunities and obtaining client feedback.

    Preferred Requirements:

    •⁠ ⁠A minimum of Five years of experience in an account management, bookings, or customer
    service role within the film and television industry, preferably in equipment rental or sales;
    •⁠ ⁠Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and staff;
    •⁠ ⁠Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously;
    •⁠ ⁠Detail-oriented and proficient in problem-solving, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service;
    •⁠ ⁠Familiarity with cinema cameras, lenses, and film production equipment is a must;
    •⁠ ⁠Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and rental management software;
    •⁠ ⁠Site-based role at Here East, Stratford, London, UK;
    •⁠ ⁠Flexibility to travel as needed for industry events and client meetings.
