The Xelmus Aura anamorphic lenses are a 2x full frame anamorphic prime series from Xelmus exhibiting characteristics similar to vintage anamorphics including cool-temperature fractal diffraction flares with vertical and horizontal elements, an almost watercolor-like background when defocused, and attractive oval bokeh. More sharpness and less focus fall-off than true vintage glass, with a more modern mechanical design. The Aura series offers a distinctive look positioned between classic vintage character and modern optical precision.
